Statutory training, VOCs and role-based competencies must be tracked against each person and each site requirement. Expiries should trigger alerts, not surface during an audit.
Audits, assessments and actions
Internal audits, contractor assessments and management reviews should live in the same system as the findings and corrective actions they generate. Actions must be assignable, trackable and connected to the underlying record.
Site access and visitor management
Access control is where compliance becomes operational. The platform should verify that every person entering site — employee, contractor or visitor — has the training, medicals and inductions required for that site on that day.
Plant, equipment and asset compliance
Mobile plant and fixed equipment carry their own compliance requirements: inspections, servicing, defects, isolations and prestart checks. These records need to connect to the operators, sites and incidents they relate to.
HSEQ documents and management systems
Procedures, JSAs, SWMS and management system documents need version control, controlled distribution and evidence that the current version is in use — not the copy someone downloaded last year.
Reporting, dashboards and audit readiness
Executives, HSEQ leaders and site managers need different views of the same underlying data. A connected platform lets you report by site, contractor company, module or obligation without stitching spreadsheets together.
